The hammam ritual is made up of several stages intended to make the skin soft and relax the mind. It begins with a short phase of adaptation to humid heat in different rooms of the hammam. Thus, your skin, by sweating, prepares to evacuate the nasty toxins.
The second step is to scrub your body from head to toe with black soap and a "Kessa" glove . This scrub, in addition to eliminating dead skin, will help activate blood circulation. Once the skin has been rid of its dead cells, a mask can then be applied to the hair, face and even to the whole body. Other possible choice; simply relax in the sauna.
After having "splashed" for long minutes, you can also extend your experience with a massage with a nourishing oil.
The ritual ends with a good mint tea or infusions of your choice.
